She said "haha maybe." What now?
You asked her out. She said "haha maybe." Now you're reading it like a fortune cookie. Let me save you some time.
What it usually means
Maybe is mostly a no with manners. Not always, but usually. She's not sure enough to say yes and too nice to say no. Sometimes she's genuinely unsure about her week. Sometimes she likes you but isn't there yet. Either way, the answer right now isn't yes, and you can't text it into a yes.
The mistake
Chasing. Asking again. Asking "is that a maybe yes or a maybe no?" Sending three other days. Explaining why it'll be really fun. All of that tells her you're more invested than she is, and that makes the maybe harder to turn into a yes.
What to do instead
Make the plan anyway, make it real, and leave the door open. You're going either way. If she comes, great. If she doesn't, you had tacos.

A woman's read
When I say maybe to a guy, I'm usually waiting to feel a little more. Pushing doesn't get me there. Watching him be totally fine does. A guy who answers a maybe with "I'll be there anyway, come if you want" just got more interesting. He's not needy, he has a plan, and the door is open with no pressure on it. That's the guy who gets the text back on Thursday.
The move
Reply once, short and warm, with your actual plan. Then go live your week. Don't follow up about it. If she wants in, she'll tell you.
Why the plan works
It does two things at once. It shows her you were going to have a good Friday with or without her, which is attractive by itself. And it turns her maybe into an easy yes later, because there's nothing to negotiate. She just shows up or texts "save me a seat."
If she follows up later
Great. Lock it in with a day and a time, and don't make her feel weird about the maybe. Then make the date good. First date ideas that aren't boring has a few easy ones.
If she never mentions it again
