She double texted me. What does it mean?
You looked down and there are two texts from her, not one. Maybe "hey" and then a meme. Maybe a question and then "lol sorry, random." You're wondering what it means. Most of the time, it means something good.
What it usually means
- She's interested. People don't double text people they don't care about. She thought of you twice. That's the whole signal.
- She had more to say. Some people text in bursts. One thought, then another. It's just her style.
- She's a little nervous. A second text like "haha ignore that" is often her softening the first one because she cares how it lands.
- She's checking in. If you went quiet for a day, a second text can mean she noticed and wants to keep it going.
What it doesn't mean is that she's desperate. That idea is old. Lots of confident people double text. It mostly means she's not playing the waiting game, which is a good thing.
How to read it
Look at what the second text says.
- New thought, joke or question. Normal, happy texting. Just reply.
- "sorry that was random" or "ignore me lol." She's a little shy about it. Reassure her by replying to the first one warmly.
- "hello??" or "you there?" She's waiting on you. Answer when you can and keep it easy.
